Scott Jewler is a semiconductor industry veteran with broad experience in package assembly and test, capital equipment, wafer fabrication, and direct materials. Scott has led operations, sales and marketing, technology development, and corporate development teams at leading global companies and has co-founded and led an innovative start-up.
Scott is currently Executive Advisor to Techsearch International. Prior to that, Scott was CEO of Revasum, a supplier of surface grinding and chemical mechanical polishing equipment to the Silicon Carbide semiconductor industry. Prior to Revasum, Scott led Mitsubishi Chemical’s global precision cleaning business as General Manager.
In 2012, Scott co-founded SVXR, a company specializing in sub-surface inspection equipment design and manufacturing. He later served as COO and CEO of SVXR.
From 2014 to 2018, Scott served as Sr. Director of Global Operations for Globalfoundries. Before that, he held senior executive roles at three of the world's top four OSAT companies by revenue. Notably, from 2009 to 2012, Scott was the Chief Engineering and Sales Officer at Powertech Technology in Hsinchu, Taiwan, where he spearheaded the development of advanced TSV and 3DIC interconnect technologies.
Before his tenure at Powertech Technology, Scott was the Chief Strategy Officer at STATS ChipPAC. In this role, he oversaw corporate strategy, product management, and global sales, contributing to STATS ChipPAC becoming the fastest-growing major OSAT in the industry. Prior to his time at STATS ChipPAC, he served as President of Amkor Technology Taiwan. There, he managed two manufacturing sites with over 3,000 employees and played a pivotal role in introducing QFN packaging technology.
Scott holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University and is the inventor of 9 U.S. patents in IC packaging and machine learning inspection technology. His expertise and leadership have significantly contributed to the advancement of semiconductor technologies, driving innovation and growth in the industry.
