Jim Redman, Founder and President, ErgoTech Systems, Inc.
Jim Redman is a semiconductor industry veteran with over 30 years of experience in advanced manufacturing, data architectures and AI-driven automation. As the Founder and President of ErgoTech Systems, Inc., he has been at the forefront of developing solutions that bridge semiconductor equipment, AI/ML, and real-time data integration.
Jim leads the development of MIStudio and TransSECS no/low-code application builders providing AI-ready data collection for many industries including semiconductor manufacturing, with applications in chiplets, heterogeneous integration, and advanced packaging. His work focuses on data management, including data mesh technology and making AI/ML-driven decision-making more effective by ensuring that semiconductor manufacturing data is accessible, contextualized, and structured for machine learning applications.
A recognized thought leader, Jim has presented and published on AI, machine learning, and data architectures for semiconductor manufacturing, including a 2017 presentation on AI/ML applications in semiconductor, considered by the audience to be futuristic fantasy. Jim also presented the a tutorial on AI for semiconductor manufacturing at the APC Conference, Austin, Oct 2018
Jim holds a B.Sc. in Metallurgy and Materials Science from Imperial College London and an M.S. in Materials Science from Northwestern University.
