In semiconductor manufacturing, efficient lot movement is crucial, yet traditional manual processes are becoming increasingly inadequate to meet the demands of today’s dynamic production environment. This presentation explores an innovative approach to automating lot movement and machine loading through the integration of advanced technologies such as Mobile Collaborative Robots (mCobot) and Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR) within Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS). Drawing from insights gained through deployments in eight global factories, we will highlight how Teradyne Automation Solutions (TAS) empower semiconductor manufacturers to reduce reliance on manual labor, optimize machinery utilization, and improve overall production efficiency.
