Enabling automated driving requires intelligent selection and use of vehicle motion sensors, including gyroscopes and accelerometers. These low-cost, high-performance sensors are critically important for safety, sustainability, and convenience. This session will dive into the motion sensors for smart vehicles, and their role to supplement other sensors such as GPS, cameras, Lidar and a high definition map.
